I am so excited to bring this new service to you. It's time to have the brows you've always wanted. Please read all the information provided here before calling. Most of your questions will be answered below! See you at your brow transformation! xo

What is it?
Microblading is the artistic technique of tattooing individual hair strokes with a handheld tool called a microblade. Unlike traditional tattooing, that uses a machine, microblading artists draw on each individual hair to match the color and coarseness of your eyebrows. Get your microblading by Valerie and join our Beauty Bar Brow movement for the most gorgeous, natural brows ever!

How long does it last?
Your brows will last as long as it’s maintained. Untouched, the pigment will last 6-18 months.

How often do I need a touch up?
Touch ups are recommended once a year, to keep the color fresh and the strokes crisp. When you book and come in for an annual touch up (within 12 months after your initial 6 week touch-up), your cost will be $295. Before assuming this is the cost for your personal procedure,  please reach out to us for confirmation. After 12 months has passed it goes back to a full priced service.

Does it hurt?
There is minimal discomfort associated with the procedure. A topical anesthetic is used to numb the area to make you comfortable during the procedure. The discomfort level for everyone can differ. Some report no discomfort while others say they were uncomfortable for a short time nearing the end of the procedure. My personal experience was that I was fine with the discomfort level in order to achieve beautiful brows!

How much does it cost?
The cost is $515. This includes your first initial visit, your second visit 6 weeks later (also known as your touch up or perfecting session) and your aftercare products. Rarely a third session is needed but if it were, it is also included in this cost.  Every appointment will require a NON-REFUNDABLE $100 deposit to secure your reserved time and it will be applied to your total cost of service. Gratuity, as with any of our services, is appreciated but never required or automatically added on.

Pay $100 when you book to secure your appointment

Pay $265 at your Initial Microblading appointment

Pay remainder of the balance $150 at your 6 week touch up

If you need this option you MUST make the note 'PAYMENT PROMO' in your appointment note online.

Is there a deposit to hold my appointment?

Yes. Once you book online, you will receive an email invoice for $100 to secure your appointment. So please provide an email address that is valid. This deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE! For this reason, please be sure you that you want this procedure! However, if you need to reschedule and do so at least 72 hours or more before your appointment, it will transfer to your new appointment date. It will only transfer ONE time and becomes non-refundable if you must move your appointment again. If it is within 72 hours of your appointment date (based on your appt time), it is non-refundable, no exceptions. YOU MUST PAY YOUR INVOICE WITHIN 48 HOURS OF RECEIVING IT. If you do not, you may lose your appointment time. This is a large amount of time reserved in your name and nearly impossible to fill last minute. I appreciate your understanding.

What should I do to prepare for my procedure?
Do not tweeze, wax, electrolysis, tint, thread, use retinols, receive chemical peels, or use any other topical ointment especially if prescription strength for one week prior to your appointment. Limit the use of aspirin and ibuprofen that prior week as well. NO BOTOX/FILLERS FOR 2 WEEKS BEFORE MICROBLADING.

What’s the process like?

Microblading is a two step treatment, consisting of an initial procedure and then a touch up 6-8 weeks later. I require all clients to come back for the touch up session! That is why it is included in your cost of service.  A 'before' and 'after' picture is taken of everyone. This is for you to see the difference and share with your friends and family and also for my portfolio. I will then apply a topical numbing cream to ensure your comfort for the the procedure. Once removed, I will measure your facial bone structure to give us a starting point. We will work together on your brow design, shape and color choice. At that point, the pigment is deposited.
During healing, it's normal to experience some pigment loss; this is why we have the touch up in place. The process is considered to be complete 6 weeks after the first touch up. The healing process and aftercare will be discussed in full detail at your appointment.

How long does it take?
The procedure takes roughly about two hours, sometimes more sometimes less. The consultation is part of your appointment! Please allow a solid two and a half hour window for your appointment. We likely won’t need that much time, but this isn’t something we want to rush.

What can’t I do after the procedure?
You are advised to keep the skin clean and dry - that means no swimming, sweating or otherwise getting the area wet; no tanning or prolonged sun exposure; no picking or peeling of the treatment area. You can still wash your hair and face and once they’re healed up, you treat them as your own.

Do you guarantee your work?
No. I can guarantee that your face is extremely important to me and that I will act in accordance with my experience and expertise to give you my absolute best. I can guarantee that I will strive to make you happy and content with your new brows. Semi-permanent makeup is an art, not a science, therefore there are no guarantees.

How do I make an appointment?
Valerie is currently accepting appointments. She is currently booked about 6-8 weeks out for this procedure. Book online! Message Valerie first at for any questions PRIOR to booking.
